In the middle of Florida is a beautiful little Inn sitting on a gorgeous lake—filled with alligators. Haha. But still, it was beautiful. I actually met Joey years ago through the music scene. Who knew years later I would be photographing him in a suit next to a lady in white.
John Michael & Lauren
These two showed me some real Southern love. I flew to South Florida and spent a weekend with some wonderful people and documented their amazing day. It’s always nice when the schedule works the way the way it should. It’s nice when the weather cooperates too. Family and friends came in from all over the country for this one. One of things I have to mention is her dress. It was her grandmother’s. Then her mom wore it, and then it was Lauren’s turn. Each bride altered the dress just a little to make it their own. Amazing. Jamie at Absolute was great as always and I really can’t say enough good things about John Michael and Lauren.

This wedding was incredible. When you are fortunate enough to have a backyard like this, why not have a backyard wedding. These two grew up together, and when I say that, I mean since birth. Such a rich family history, everyone knew everyone for at least 20 years. The details were beautiful and the smiles were genuine. What more could you want?
